I delivered this painting to Tere earlier in the week. Her extravanganza of a birthday party on Oct. 3, 2009, at the Josephine S. Leiser Opera Center in Ft. Lauderdale, took on a Hollywood theme of movies and movie stars. She looks like a little girl at a very sophisticated adult party, which is the image that came to me as I watched her greet and mingle with friends and family. Guests were thoroughly entertained by Marilyn Monroe, a fabulous DJ, a trio of beautiful lady singers, high energy dancing, a caricaturist, photo booth, a chocolate station, I could go on.
